Melin Tregwynt St David's Cross Throw - Bluestone
Melin Tregwynt St David's Cross Throw - Bluestone
£189.00
This design is an historic pattern inspired by early 18th century Shaker weaves. This version was developed at the Melin Tregwynt Mill by Howard Griffiths in the 1980's as a modification of the Vintage Star design, it displays all the characteristics of these strongly reversible weaves. All of these throws are edged with a simple hem so you can choose to display either side. Warm and easy to care for, made from 100% pure new wool, with pattern repeat of 22x23cm
Throw 120 x200cm
CARE
Melin Tregwynt recommen DRY CLEANING blankets & throws, but you can WASH BY HAND in cold or cool water (no more than 30 degrees) using a delicate detergent. Move the fabric gently in the water for a couple of minutes. RINSE with cold water and press the excess moisture out - don't wring. Follow with a quick SPIN in the washing machine. Pull into shape whilst damp to straighten, then line dry on a breezy day or dry flat. Cool iron if necessary. We do not advise using a Wool Wash programme on your washing machine for blankets and throws. Interesting facts...Wool can absorb 30% of its weight in water before feeling wet so you may need to use the bath for king-sized blankets!....Leaving in water for a length of time will damage the fibres, felting and shrinking the fabric.
