Melin Tregwynt Mondo Aqua - Double Blanket

This contemporary take on traditional Welsh tapestry was first woven at Melin Tregwynt in 1999 and has been in continuous production ever since. Spotty on one side with an overcheck on the other this funky fabric has proved enduringly popular.  

Made from 100% Lambswool these blankets are soft, warm and easy to care for.

They are finished with a simple hem so you can choose to display either side.

CARE - Melin Tregwynt recommend DRY CLEANING the blankets & throws, but you can WASH BY HAND in cold or cool water (no more than 30 degrees) using a delicate detergent. Move the fabric gently in the water for a couple of minutes. RINSE with cold water and press the excess moisture out - don't wring. Follow with a quick SPIN in the washing machine. Pull into shape whilst damp to straighten, then line dry on a breezy day or dry flat. Cool iron if necessary. We do not advise using a Wool Wash programme on your washing machine for blankets and throws. Interesting facts...Wool can absorb 30% of its weight in water before feeling wet so you may need to use the bath for king-sized blankets!....Leaving in water for a length of time will damage the fibres, felting and shrinking the fabric
